At Calvary Church, we value our children, who are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalms 139:14a), as the greatest inheritance from our Lord (Psalms 127:3).

The Calvary Church Children’s Ministry team endeavor to train up our children in the way that they should go, that when they are old, they will not depart from it (Proverbs 22:6). We believe that just as the physical body needs physical nourishment, the spiritual body too needs to be nourish spiritually. Thus, it is our desire to see every child deeply rooted and grounded in God’s words and be a reflection of Christ in words and works.

It is our utmost priority to ensure that every child feels welcomed and loved at Calvary, as we guide them to express their love and thanks to God through songs, prayers, Biblical truths, crafts, games and relationship with fellow believers.

CHILDREN’S PROGRAMS ON SUNDAYS

Children’s Worship

(2:00 – 3:00 pm every Sunday except third week of the month)

Psalms 8:2, tells us that “Out of the mouths of babes and nursing infants God has ordained praise …” , thus we believe that the desire to worship the Creator is innate in our children. At Calvary, children are guided to express their love and thanks through children’s worship and prayers to our Lord and wait upon Him for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit each Sunday.

Nursery

(3:00 – 5:00pm)
A team of volunteers are on duty each Sunday to provide care and love in a safe environment for babes and toddlers age 0 to before 3.

Preschoolers

(3:00 – 5:00 pm)
Children age 3 to 6 are taught Biblical truths the fun way through table-top figures, hand puppets, flannel boards pictures , crafts, songs, games and Christian movies/cartoons.

Primary

(3:00 – 5:00pm)
Children age 7 to 10 are challenged each week to memorize short Bible verses which are related to the Bible stories that they learned each week. They are also encouraged to discuss how they can apply Biblical truths in their daily life.
