Calvary is Full Gospel and Charismatic in both doctrine and practice, and is affiliated with Praise Chapel of California (see resources section for more details on affiliated churches). The church was pioneered in February 1989 through street outreaches and a LOT of hard work. God has richly blessed us, and currently membership is diverse, over 20 nationalities and counting! At least 50 more have passed through our doors at one time or another. (And hopefully, been blessed in the process!) We would love for you to join us in worshipping God. There are many different services and meetings, each designed to fit different cultures, ages and personalities. See the services section to find one that suits you!

Pastor John McGovern oversees the works and workers affiliated with Calvary Church. In October of 2004, Pastor John appointed and installed Pastor John Malcolm as the pastor of Calvary Church Hong Kong. At that same service, Calvary Church laid hands on the McGoverns and sent them to begin Trinity Alive in Scottsdale, Arizona. Our motto has been "Reaching all nations in our generation!" |
